I am determined to live my life head on, eyes wide open, fully present to the world and where I find my place in it. I strive to express myself as honestly and authentically as I can muster, making an effort every day to be the best I can be, striving to make a difference, a positive impact – no matter how small. Pushing myself and exploring my edges, stepping outside my comfort zone and taking risks. A holistic, well rounded, flourishing, full colour approach to living – in all its aspects.
And I’m determined to help you do the same. While I’m on this wild ever evolving journey, I want to encourage and assist as many people as I possibly can to live fully. Overcome the shit that’s standing in your way, make the changes you’ve been wanting to implement, take full control of who you are and where you’re headed, face the scary stuff head on, and get moving, growing, expanding into your real full potential. We’re not meant to be passengers or bystanders in our own lives, that is such a waste. Sometimes all we need is a bit of a push and some guidance, assistance, encouragement to get us on track and headed in the right direction. And usually our potential and greater purpose is so much more than we could have ever thought up.
If my life thus far has taught me anything at all, it’s that we have to make the most of the people, the time, the experiences presented to us. Right. Now. Not some arbitrary time in the future. We need to live now. I’ve worked in the media industry, corporate, various IT environments, change management, project management – had jobs I loved, and jobs I hated. But through it all I never quite felt completely fulfilled. I wanted to do more, give more, help more, have more meaning. More autonomy and agency over how the hours of my life are spent.
I want to give people the tools to break away from each day sliding into the next, the weekend as the only exciting thing on the horizon. I work with skills and tools associated with positive psychology, resilience, gratitude, enhanced wellbeing, neuroscience and neural pathways associated with bedding in long term change. This also includes elements of somatic embodiment and really understanding how to change and shift behavioral patterns that are no longer serving us.
I am affiliated with the International Association of Coaching (IAC) as a Masteries Practitioner, the International Coach Federation (ICF) as a Certified Professional Coach, and the Institute of Coaching.
Life coaching is very personal, and just as we are all very different, no two coaching sessions are ever the same. I tailor my approach to suit each individual, and work to build a strong and resonant relationship as the foundation for real progress to unfold.
I will never stop learning, and I will never stop sharing as much as I possibly can with those who are willing to take the leap. This matters so much. It’s only the rest of your life after all.
