And I’ve always been a little hooked on the world of personal and professional development. I’ve worked in the media industry, IT, project management, various corporate environments and the common denominator in every place that always left a lasting impression were the people. The teams and how they grew, the individuals stepping outside of their comfort zone and developing, succeeding – both at work and at life. And then also those that remained stuck. The people who had so much damn potential but seemed lost, unsure how to take that next step, overcome that current challenge, stand up for themselves, speak their mind, make the changes they wished they could just start. The people who felt unfulfilled but had no idea where to go next. I think the potential here holds so many possibilities. Its invigorating!
I have always been determined to live my life as fully present to the world as I can (not without its challenges) and where I find my place in it. I strive to express myself as honestly and authentically as I can, making an effort every day to try and improve and grow. Pushing myself and exploring my edges, stepping outside my comfort zone and taking risks. A holistic, well rounded, flourishing, full color approach to living – in all its aspects. And learning constantly.
I want to encourage and assist as many people as I possibly can to also live fully. At both work and at home, finally overcome the issues standing in your way, make the changes you’ve been wanting to implement, take full control of who you are and where you’re headed, face the scary stuff head on, and get moving, growing, expanding into your real full potential. Sometimes all we need is a bit of a a perspective shift and some guidance, assistance, encouragement to get us on track and headed in the right direction. And usually our potential and greater purpose is so much more than we could have ever thought up.
I want to give people the tools to break away from each day sliding into the next, the weekend as the only exciting thing on the horizon. I work with skills and tools associated with positive psychology, enhanced wellbeing, habit formation (and breaking) strategies, neuroscience and neural pathways associated with bedding in long term change. This also includes elements of somatic embodiment and really understanding how to change and shift behavioral patterns that are no longer serving us.
I am affiliated with the International Association of Coaching (IAC) as a Masteries Practitioner, the International Coach Federation (ICF) as a Certified Coach, and the Institute of Coaching. Life coaching is very personal, and just as we are all very different, no two coaching sessions are ever the same. I tailor my approach to suit each individual, and work to build a strong and resonant relationship as the foundation for real progress to unfold.
